Even if you're a university, you only get one shot at a first impression.
The ask
I was tasked with creating the booklet that guides students through the entire orientation week, as well as large installations to make a bold first impression on students.
A helpful companion
Throughout the entirety of orientation week, the booklet I created in collaboration with the orientation team was the only resource students needed to navigate everything that was going on. Almost just as importantly, we wanted to give everyone an impression of what their life could look and feel like at CWU in the years to come–which is what drove a lot of the visual choices.
Say "hello" but like...huge
Separate from the booklet, but still part of the larger effort of welcoming students to CWU, I was tasked in created signage and large format installations that would be used for welcome week for years to come.
