Audio UI Envisioning | UX Storyboarding • Workshop Design
We talk a lot about what the future looks like. But what does it sound like?
The ask
My team and I were tasked with helping product teams across a large tech company come together and align around a vision for the future of augmented reality–specifically in the realm of audio.
We were working with some of the most brilliant sound engineers in the world. But they struggled with consolidating and aligning on their ideas.

We created workshop activities that worked teams through thoroughly synthesizing their ideas, and aligning on the feasibility and application of them.
I got to create colorful, engaging print assets that gamified the experience and brought a much-needed dose of fun into the process.

I also used generative AI tools to create abstract, ambiguous imagery—designed to capture the wide variety of emerging concepts teams were exploring.

The result? Teams walked away with a shared sense of direction and clear, aligned visions for the future of their work.

Later in the project, our role shifted toward visualizing the teams' ideas; illustrating them in real-world, user-centered scenarios.

The goal wasn’t to explain how these experiences worked (since many were still hypothetical), but to inspire conversation and imagination. So I built the storyboards with high-altitude fidelity—detailed enough to communicate the idea, but abstract enough to remain speculative.

Because we were working in a fast sprint, I built a reusable visual asset library to quickly assemble each storyboard on demand as teammates needed them.
